“Surprise!” Poster

Another fun one—this was the poster for a comedy show series run by the wonderful Neil Sharma and Ilana Michelle Rubin.

I wanted to ape the Broad City style here, with a little Adventure Time thrown in. The general vibe was “adult coloring book.”

For the confetti redrew the emoji from Apple, Google, Facebook etc so that the iconography would be familiar to everyone but just a little bit different.
