Summer Daze 2013 Poster
I tell you what, filling out this site with my old projects has been a trip.
I was working on this in a Noodles & Co. in Columbus Ohio in 2013. I love Noodles & Co., it’s my favorite fast-casual restaurant. I also love Columbus Ohio. I think that love shows here.
All joking aside this poster was a blast. Warren had hired me to do a poster for the mini-festival they were kicking off and they had no other requests. Carte blanche. Total freedom. A designer’s worst nightmare.
It really was a cookout. I had three or four hot dogs.
I dug deep into summer vibes and managed to pull this out. I love the colors, a little muted, but perfect for the dog days of summer when the festival takes place.
On the detail page I broke out the logo and wordmark I did for Warren as well. They were great folks and a truly incredible improv team and I’m still really grateful that they tapped me to do their graphics.
